Lincoln County Parks and Recreation- Lincolnton Office Move

We are excited to be moving our Lincolnton office to our new location at 302 North Academy Street in Lincolnton this month.  Our office will be closed Monday, January 10th through Friday, January 14th to allow for our move to the new location.  Our new location is two blocks north of Main Street and is the former planning and inspections building.  Our offices will be located on the 2nd Floor with Lincoln County Veteran Services moving into the 1st Floor.  If you need to make a park reservation or have recreation related questions during our move, please call our main phone line at (704)748-1518 and leave a message.  We will be checking them and returning calls periodically during our week of moving.

Splash Pad Schedule for 2022!

The splash pads at West Lincoln Park and Beatty's Ford Park are opening for the 2022 season on Monday, May 30th.  The splash pads are open daily from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.  The splash pads will close for the season on Monday, September 6th.

Please remember to follow the splash pad rules when visiting:

  1. No food or drinks allowed on splash pad
  2. No pets allowed on splash pad
  3. No bikes, scooters or skateboards on pad
  4. No glass containers allowed
  5. No climbing on elements
  6. Swim diapers are required

West Lincoln Park is located at 369 Hulls Grove Church Road in Vale and Beatty's Ford Park is located at 8335 Shipley Lane in Denver.

Park Shelter Reservation Information

If you would like to make a shelter reservation please contact our Lincolnton office at 704-748-1518. All reservation payments and paperwork must be turned in at our Lincolnton office or by mail. Half day shelter reservations are $50 and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. or from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Full day reservations are $100 and from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

This includes shelter reservations for West Lincoln Park, Beatty's Ford Park, Rock Springs Nature Preserve, and Rescue Squad Park. Please contact our Parks and Recreation office at 704-748-1518 to book your reservation or download the reservation forms here on our Parks and Recreation page.
