OVERVIEW
The goal of the Board of Election is to provide the citizens of the county with the best possible services, and to conduct fair, honest and impartial elections in an efficient and economical manner.
The Board of Election Office is charged with the overall responsibility of administering the election process and campaign finance disclosures for all elections held in Lincoln County.

PUBLIC NOTICE - Soil & Water Filing
Filing for Soil & Water Conservation will begin on Monday, June 13, 2022 at noon. Filing will end on Friday, July 1, 2022 at noon. Filing will be held at the Board of Elections office, 451 Salem Church Road, Lincolnton.
Soil & Water Conservation qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age by Election Day
- Must be a resident of the county
- A candidate must file noon on the second Monday in June and no later than noon on the first Friday in July preceding the election.
- The candidate shall pay a filing fee of five dollars ($5) at the time of filing the notice of candidacy.
