 VAR #332  Robert Seitz  A request for a variance from Sections 4.8.3.B and 7.3.7 of the Lincoln County Unified Development Ordinance to permit a 350-square-foot deck to extend from a dock onto land. The 0.65-acre parcel is located at 8217 Tranquil Harbor Lane about 750 feet east of Cherry Lane in Catawba Springs Township. Section 4.8.3.B states that on any lot which abuts Lake Norman no principal or accessory structure shall be located closer than 50 feet inward from the edge of the full-pond level line, and Section 7.3.7 states that no new development is allowed in a 30-foot buffer area along perennial waters.  5/27/2013
