The 300 acre landfill located near Crouse, NC has a 25 year projected capacity. There are seven convenience sites for household waste and recyclable material located throughout the county.

Disposal of Scrap Tires
The landfill will accept scrap tires for disposal in accordance with the terms outlined in the Scrap Tire Certification Form.  Print the form, complete it and bring it with you to dispose of scrap tires.

The following materials are currently banned from disposal in landfills:

Used Oil Oil Filters Antifreeze
Whole Scrap Tires Lead-Acid Batteries Pallets
Plastic Bottles Aluminum Cans ABC Beverage Containers
Appliances Electronics Yard Trash
Oyster Shells
