Lincoln County operates a Solid Waste Landfill on approximately 300 acres near Crouse, NC. There are also a number of convenience sites for household waste and recyclable material located throughout the county. Only waste generated inside Lincoln County can be accepted at the landfill and convenience sites. Out-of-county waste cannot be accepted.

Disposal of Scrap Tires
The landfill will accept scrap tires for disposal in accordance with the terms outlined in the Scrap Tire Certification Form.  Print the form, complete it and bring it with you to dispose of scrap tires.

ABC Beverage Containers Florescent Bulbs Plastic Bottles
Aluminum Cans Glass Used Oil
Antifreeze Lead-Acid Batteries Whole Scrap Tires
Appliances Oil Filters Yard Trash Waste
Cardboard Oyster Shells
Electronics Pallets
