Lincoln County is soliciting Sealed Bids for RFB 2021-0824 Lincoln County Emergency Services Facility from qualified contractors to construct the new Lincoln County Emergency Services Facility located at 151 Sigmon Road Lincolnton, NC. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and plainly labeled on the outer most package “RFB 2021-0824 Lincoln County Emergency Services Facility.” The inside and outside package shall include the Contractor’s License Number. 


The public opening and reading aloud of the bids will be at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in the Executive Conference Room, located at 353 N. Generals Blvd. Lincolnton, NC 28092. 


Bids received after the announced time and date for submittal, whether by mail or otherwise, will be rejected.  Bidders are responsible for ensuring their Bid is received before the deadline indicated.  Bids submitted by telephone, telegraph, email, text message, or facsimile shall not be accepted.


The Project generally consists of a one-story new emergency services facility which is approximately 54,375 s.f. in size.  The Project is Type II-B construction, non-separated mixed-use occupancy of Group B and Group S-2.  Major building assemblies include steel frame and non-load-bearing masonry construction and non-load-bearing steel stud framing; slab on grade; low-slope membrane roof system; package roof-top unit HVAC system; wet-sprinkler fire protection system; laundry equipment; vehicle lift; Audio-Visual System; Video Surveillance System; and Door Access Control System.    


A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., on August 10, 2021, at Location: 353 N. Generals Blvd., Lincolnton, NC 28092.  Submit questions in writing, at this time on the required “Pre-Bid Question Form.”  The “Pre-Bid Question Form” may be accessed within the Project Manual, or you may submit online via  Responses will be in the form of addenda if required.

In order for Moseley Architects to maintain an accurate list of plan holders (General Contractor’s only) and notify them of any addenda, each General Contractor shall complete the following required steps:
