A public forum will be
held July 17, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:30 at Unity Presbyterian
Church, Unity Road in Denver to gather public input concerning the future
development and use of Old NC 16. The opening and extension of New NC 16
will have enormous impact on our area, and it gives us a great opportunity
to re-think the look and feel of the Old NC 16 Corridor and to better manage
future development along this main artery of our community. To see the

The Lincoln
County Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a meeting and public hearing on
Monday, July 28, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. to consider the following
matter:
APP# 318
Richard Rowan, applicant (Parcel ID# 34762) An appeal of the zoning
administrator’s determination that the rebuilding of a pier was normal
repair and maintenance and that it did not increase the nonconformity of the
structure. The appeal involves a 0.27-acre parcel located at 8006 Hinsdale
Lane in Catawba Springs Township.
The public
is invited to attend this meeting, which will be held in the Commissioners
Room on the third floor of the James W. Warren Citizens Center, 115 W. Main
