1. I live within the 10-mile radius of the McGuire Nuclear Station. Where can I pick up Potassium Iodide (KI) tablets?

If you are a resident of Lincoln County, you may pick up KI tablets from the Florence S. Shanklin Library in Denver, or from Lincoln County Health Department. For more information, click here. 

Residents of other counties, please contact your local health department for information regarding pick-up locations

2. Are all services free?

All services are not free, charges are according to the service received and can be free, fixed amount or on a sliding scale depending on income. See Health Department Services.

3. If I have the flu can I be treated?

The Health Department does not have a General Clinic to treat all illnesses. The Health department only treats specific illness such as sexually transmitted disease and diabetes. See Health Department Services.
