Adults often enjoy the exercise and fellowship provided by industrial and church league softball, and the Senior Center at Gaston College caters to the interests of older adults.
    Betsy Ross Park offers impeccable recreation facilities for all to enjoy. Among the features of this park are public swimming pools, tennis courts, softball fields, a gymnasium, racquetball courts, playgrounds and picnic areas. Take a walk on the "wild side" while exploring the Ramsour's Mill Hiking Trail. This challenging trail also provides ample opportunity for bird watching and nature photography.
