The Lincoln County Addressing Division provides administrative planning
for the addressing of structures and road naming. The Lincoln
County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt and support an Addressing and
Road Naming Ordinance, effective August 26, 1991, amended on April 10, 2001.This division provides
data support for the three-digit emergency telephone number that has become a national
standard ( E-911).
