[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Vaccine Update

Lincoln County Placeholder Image

The Lincoln County Health Department has now opened up our appointment calendar to individuals 65 years and older. Unfortunately, we are limited in appointments due to limited vaccine and will offer 200 appointments per week for the next two weeks beginning on Thursday, February 11.

The health department will use an online appointment system for the Thursday and Friday slots for the appointments each week. We will evaluate the online system for ease of use over the next several weeks to determine if it allows for better service to people seeking appointments at the health department. Anyone with an appointment will be asked to bring in a print out of their appointment confirmation or proper identification. For people in the eligible priority that do not have the means for online scheduling, the health department will reserve an allocation that can be made by phone at 704-736-8509.

The appointment slots will be made available online February 8th at 8am EST. The vaccine appointment link can be found at

Once we have more information on our vaccine shipment allocation after the week of February 15-19 we will provide another update on vaccine distribution.
