Lincoln County is soliciting Formal Sealed Bids for RFB 2018-1206 LINCOLN COUNTY SENIOR SERVICES CENTER from qualified general contractors to Lincoln County Manager’s Office c/o Mr. John Henry. Bids will be received at the location listed below until the date and time listed:

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and plainly labeled on the outer most package ”RFB-2018-1206 LINCOLN COUNTY SENIOR SERVICES CENTER .” The inside and outside package shall include the Contractor’s License Number.
The public opening and reading aloud of the bids will be at 1400 hrs, on Thursday, December 6 in the Board of Commissioner’s Room, located on the Third Floor of the James W, Warren Citizen Center located at 115 West Main Street in Lincolnton, NC 28092. th, 2018,
The issuing office for the Bidding Documents is: RdM Architecture, 208 South Village Lane, Suite B, PO Box 1029, Davidson, NC 28036, 704.987.9727. Prospective bidders may examine the bidding documents at the issuing office Mondays through Thursdays between the hours of 0800 and 1700, Fridays between the hours of 0800 and 1200 and may obtain copies of the bidding documents from the Plan Room as described below.
Bid documents may be viewed and ordered online by registering with the Plan Room at Duncan Parnell, Public Bid Room, www.dpibidroom.com. Please note that only Registered Plan Holders may submit a bid as a General Contractor. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Plan Room website as “zipped” portable document format (PDF) files. The cost of printed Bidding Documents will depend on the number and size of the Drawings and Project Manual, applicable taxes, and shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. Cost of Bidding Documents and shipping is non-refundable. Upon receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Plan Room will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.
A pre-bid meeting to permit the Bidder to examine the project site, existing equipment installations and adjacent areas will be held at 1000hrs local time on November 13, at the ‘Future’ th, 2018 Lincoln County Senior Services, 612 Center Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting by General Contractors is mandatory.Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Lincoln County reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to cancel the Bid Process at any time.
Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
