Zoning Information

Zoning designates areas of the county in which certain types of uses can develop, such as residential, commercial and industrial. A property owner can request to rezone their property as a general rezoning which would simply change the zoning district, or as a conditional use rezoning where the applicant specifies a use and submits a site plan as part of the application. If a conditional use rezoning is approved, the applicant is locked into the specified use and site plan.

This page provides information and forms on how to change the use of your property and allows you to see how others in the county are requesting to change or changing the zoning of their property.
