The goal of the Board of Election is to provide the citizens of the county with the best possible services, and to conduct fair, honest and impartial elections in an efficient and economical manner.

The Board of Election Office is charged with the overall responsibility of administering the election process and campaign finance disclosures for all elections held in Lincoln County.


The Lincoln County Board of Election will conduct a simulated election on April 13th, 2021 at 8:00am. The purpose of this simulated election is to test an election software update and replacement of ADA equipment. The current ADA equipment, Automarks will be replaced with Express Votes ADA equipment. This simulated election will be held at the Board of Elections office at 451 Salem Church Road, Lincolnton, NC and is open to the public.
