OVERVIEW

The goal of the Board of Election is to provide the citizens of the county with the best possible services, and to conduct fair, honest and impartial elections in an efficient and economical manner.

The Board of Election Office is charged with the overall responsibility of administering the election process and campaign finance disclosures for all elections held in Lincoln County.



PUBLIC NOTICE - Candidates List (12/08/2021)

Candidate filing started December 6th, 2021 for the March 8th, 2022 Primary.  Candidates list will be updated at the end of each day.

PUBLIC NOTICE - Filing Dates

Filing dates for the 2022 Statewide and Local General Election are set according to G.S. 163-106.2. Filing will start at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 6, 2021 and will end on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:00 noon. 

This includes the Local School Board that will now be filing as partisan according to SL 2021-99.

The Lincoln County Board of Elections  has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, December 14th, 2021  at 1:00 pm.  The purpose of this meeting is to discuss a One Stop plan for the 2022 March Primary.
